Our mission is based on our Beliefs:  We serve Him from the position of being sons and daughters, adopted into His heart…. By serving others, we have the opportunity to engage with those who have not heard that Jesus is the only answer for getting hope in all circumstances…..

Hence our statement of faith:   hope in Him……

Our passion and commitment will be to people as follows:

“Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.” (Philippians 2:4-8).

By God’s grace we have been set apart from worldly pursuits of greatness. We are called to serve others with the grace and love that God has entrusted to us. God rewards those who give their time, money, and talents to help others in need. In God’s upside down Kingdom, those who serve are the greatest all, reflecting the character of Jesus himself, “who came not to be served but to serve” (Matthew 20:28).

Goals for 2025:

Looking ahead to 2025, we aim to continue expanding our impact within the community and the Local Churches.

Restoration 4 Hope will register as a Public Benefit organization and engage in various charitable activities as defined in Section 30(1) of the Act.

We have 3 Core Focus Areas:

Focus Area One – Collaborating with other NPC / NON Profits / Organizations:

We believe NGOs/NPCs/non-profits and the Church should focus on where they are called to, as we are all role players in our local community, aligned to make a difference. However, interaction and support between the organizations are crucial.

We are ALL called to look after the poor, widows, and orphans, but we cannot all meet all these needs full-time.  We cannot feed all the hungry children, have support programs for all women abused, have aftercare programs for all children, or even visit all those in prison.

But when we serve each other by building bridges between all related parties, then only can those who are vulnerable, marginalized, and pushed away be healed, restored, and guided to have hope for their Futures….

Focus Area Two –  Woman:

We believe that women in poor communities often suffer from poverty, the result of various factors stemming from cultural indifferences by men to accept responsibility for children conceived by them.

They suffer when their men are being imprisoned, often the result of substance abuse and economic pressures these women then become the ‘dumping place’ for problems and unwanted children:  the direct result of poverty and crime.

These women should be cared for, supported, empowered, and taught skills to be able to face challenges in life and hold onto HOPE for their Futures / Lives.

( Jeremiah 29:  11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.  13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. )

Focus Area Three – Men / Young Guys:

Statistics show in South Africa and Worldwide that more than 90 % of all people imprisoned are male.

80 % of these men grew up without a proper role model or mentor figure. A lack of guidance in their lives, showing them how to care for their families and teach them how to work hard and succeed in life, resulted in a continuous cycle of fatherless generations with no hope.

As a result, economic pressures force these men to abuse substances, which leads to violent crimes /abuse and imprisonment.

How do we break this cycle?

‘don’t just give a man a fish, but teach him how to fish and then teach him how to SELL the fish, and you will feed him and his generations to come.’

Our assistance to men and woman will be to start a Jobs for Life Program in which the following will be taught:

Develop Business Hubs to create employment.

Further focus on those in prison through support programs and mentor programs leading to a culture where they are being “met at the gate” when released to help them reintegrate into society, stronger and equipped.
